CBM MOTORSPORTS™ SUPERCHARGED 454 RHS LS

The CBM Supercharged 454 RHS LS is a 7.4L LS with a Whipple 4.5L supercharger, it puts out 900+ rwhp @ 6400 RPM’s and 875 ft-lbs of torque with a compression ratio of 9.1.

This build features CBM ProX 6 bolt cylinder heads with Jesel Valve Train and a forged lower end – fully balanced and blue printed. All CBM engines are assembled and delivered with brand new components and parts. Images may contain upgrades.

CBM Motorsports Engine Blueprinting Process:

• Engine block is fully deburred and inspected for flaws.
• Oiling holes are chamfered for improved oiling to bearings.
• Cylinders machined for rod clearance per application.
• Cylinders honed with torque plates for optimal clearance per application.
• Optimal cylinder geometry achieved with hone and surface finish verified with profilometer.
• Deck surfaces machined perpendicular to mains and deck height set for optimal quench.
• Block align honed and set to low of spec for maximum bearing crush.
• Cam bearings installed and test cam fitted to ensure smooth rotation.
• Crankshaft balanced within 1/2gm-in tolerance.
• Block and components deburred and cleaned after machining process.
• Connecting rod housing bores checked and adjusted for optimal roundness and size.
• Piston pin bores measured and adjusted for application.
• All main bearings and all rod bearing clearances measured and adjusted for application.
• All oil galley plugs and dowel pins installed.
• Piston rings are precision file fit per application.
• Final assembly of shortblock.
• All tolerances, clearances, machining specs, and part numbers are recorded and documented in build sheet.

CBM Motorsports™ products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. CBM Motorsports™ electronic components and products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. If the any part does not meet the limited warranty criteria an RMA number will have to be initiated to set up an exchange or refund.

The part must be returned to CBM with an RMA number assigned to it, and if it is in acceptable condition, CBM will issue credit directly to the customer. In addition, CBM Motorsports™  limited warranty specifically does not apply to products which have been modified or altered in any way, subjected to adverse conditions such as misuse, neglect, accident, improper installation or adjustment, dirt or other contaminants, water, corrosion or faulty repair, or used in racing activities or competitive  applications other than those recommended by CBM Motorsports™ .
